Built for the heat

How we choose a motor for heat, sand, slopes and traffic, and what AGL builds into each operator to keep it running.

Certification

Certified in Brazil.

Brazil requires independent approval for electrical products and for anything that transmits by radio. AGL products carry both.

INMETROBrazil's national institute for metrology, quality and technology, which certifies electrical products for safety before they can be sold.
ANATELBrazil's telecoms regulator, which approves radio equipment such as 433.92 MHz remotes, receivers and Wi-Fi boards.
220 V · 50 HzOperators for the region are supplied in 220 V versions for the 50 Hz grid used across the Gulf, Türkiye and Egypt.
Gulf conditions

What we check before we specify.

Gate weight is only the start. These four questions decide which operator goes on a Gulf gate.

01

How hot does it get?

Motors in direct sun need thermal protection. AGL's main operator lines have a thermal protector, and Trino Pivo is rated to 60 °C working temperature.

02

How often does it open?

A villa gate and a compound gate can weigh the same and need very different motors. We size by cycles per hour.

03

Is the ground level?

Sloped driveways defeat arm operators. Robô Strong handles up to 25 cm of rise or fall under the gate.

04

Where does water sit?

After a storm, ground-level motors can stand in water. The aerial support lifts sliding operators clear.

Inside the housing

Protection built in.

What keeps an AGL operator working, and keeps people safe around it.

Thermal protection

A thermal protector cuts the motor before it burns out from overheating, and lets it restart once it has cooled.

Electronic brake

Stops the gate precisely at the limit and holds it, so it does not drift or bounce.

Anti-trap system

The operator detects resistance and reverses. Photocells add a beam that stops the gate before contact.

Metal gearing

Trino 700/900, DZ Strong and Trino BV use metal gears and crowns for long life under load.

Encoder control

Flex and CCMD boards read the motor position with an encoder for accurate, repeatable stops.

IPX4 rated

Trino BV and Trino Pivo carry an IPX4 rating against splashing water.

Sizing guide

Cycles per hour matter.

An operator rated for 25 cycles an hour suits a single villa. A compound gate that opens every few minutes needs 45 or more, and a factory gate needs 60 to 120. Every AGL model lists its rating, and we size to the real traffic, not only the gate weight.

At the factory

Made in volume, in-house.

AGL makes its gate operators in its own plant in Divinópolis and keeps investing in machinery and factory automation.

What dealers and installers get from us.

Genuine factory supply

Operators come direct from AGL in Brazil with factory labelling, manuals and warranty documents.

Parts with the motors

Boards, remotes, receivers, racks and photocells sit alongside the operators, so a fault is a part swap.

Technical help

Wiring, programming and app set-up support for installers, plus AGL's free installer courses with certificates.

Factory warranty applies to every operator. Warranty terms are stated on each quotation.
